Please tell me how Yegor Korshkov can be rated the 4th best prospect in the system. The guy has Freddy the Goat type of numbers. What am I missing here?

He is 21 with 3 KHL seasons under his belt and he is on the Russian "B squad" national team. Gotta love Leaf nation lol

You are stats watching and missing some of the evaluation of Korshkov's ability. He was one of the the leading scorers on the Russian WJC team in the 2016 WJC. He is currently competing for a position on Russia's National B Team. His ceiling for development is mid-6 forward while Gauthier's ceiling is probable bottom 6 if at all.

5th best*, actually, and his numbers were significantly better than Gauthier's in a better league:

Korshkov: 36GP, 6G, 13A, 19P, 0.53P/GP
Gauthier: 46GP, 4G, 9A, 13P, 0.28P/GP (best year: 0.32P/GP)

And that's coming off a broken leg, in a system where most young players play only a handful of minutes a night.

Went with Moore here.

I may be wrong but comments suggest his production was mostly before his injury. He did score a goal and add some assists in the KHL P/O's. Hope his legs hold up long term. He seemed to get around well for a big man before the fractured leg.

I went with Lindgren, although it was close between him Valiev & Moore. Lindgren's offensive skills are better than Valiev, and his play hasn't regressed (nor has he had serious injuries). Moore looked good when he played with an elite AHLer, but everyone who played with Griffith looked better so that doesn't mean too much. Also, Moore is another small winger in the system, so he'll need to really separate himself if he wants to get to the NHL level (at least in this organization).
