I would give him another year to get stronger and quicker. He's not good enough for the pro game yet imo.

2022 Cup to Calgary
I just don't really know what they expect him to do in the WHL at this point. Seems like the logical next step is to find out if he's for real and play him against men.

Well it was NHL or WHL for Phillips (or fly to Europe and play something like SHL). He's only 19. He's not eligible to play minor league this year. Same as Valimaki.

That's strange that he was still somehow eligible to do a game in Stockton last year then.

it was an ato, it's the same case for Dube i believe, he's only eligible for WHL or NHL this season but he still played in Stockton on an ato at the end of last season.

Kylington walked around for the shorthanded scoring chance.... I hear this far too often in Heat games.

Heat lost 2-1 in OT today to San Jose. Sounds like Parsons had a hell of a game for the Heat

edit: meh sounded negative so deleted it.

Goodluck Heat. Wish the Leafs could’ve got Valimaki, but very happy with Lilj now :)

Stockton sign ex-NHLers Colby Robak and Cody Goloubef, decent vet reinforcements for the AHL D.
It will be interesting to see how they are used, as the Heat already had 7 defensemen on the roster. I'm expected Ollas-Mattsson to be sent to Kansas City sooner rather than later

In the meantime, I think we see something like:

Wotherspoon - Anderssson
Kylington - Goloubef
Healey/Ollas-Mattsson - Robak/Yevenko/Doetzel

The Heat just took 3 penalties in about two and a half minutes. A bench penalty for too many men,the Lomberg and Goloubef.

The Heat managed to kill all three. Shots are 14-3 with 4 minutes left in the 1st period

What a series of saves by Gilles after a brutal giveaway by Andersson

End of the 1st. Shots are 18-4 for Bakersfield

Kylington was hit from behind awkwardly into the boards, he looks to be okay. Cramarossa did his best to get at the offender
