Coyotes Sign Steenbergen to Entry-Level Contract

GLENDALE, ARIZONA -- Arizona Coyotes President of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Chayka announced today that the Coyotes have signed forward Tyler Steenbergen to a three-year entry-level contract. As per Club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Steenbergen was originally drafted by the Coyotes in the fifth round (128th overall) in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

Good to know - when it comes to playing in Vegas I imagine character is a huge consideration when recruiting and signing players.

I imagine so, yes. Even making league minimum in Vegas can be a recipe for disaster for a young man.
No worries here. He's got a good head on his shoulders.

Ustaski was drafted 192nd overall by Winnipeg in 2014. He just finished his senior year at the University of Wisconsin.

Just out of morbid curiosity (It is that time of year) - is there any indication that he will sign with the Jets?

He's got 22 points in 100 NCAA games (as a forward) so he's likely auditioning for a two-way AHL/ECHL deal.
