When is Ty Ronning going to be signed by NYR...on pace to break Evander Kane’s single season goal record for Vancouver. Rangers yet to ink his ELC tho

Probably want to let him finish out the season and not distract him. Oilers did the same thing with Bear when he was tearing it up with the Thunderbirds.

Could be so, might just want to wait out the contract situation with the trade deadline too. It seems that they’re progressing towards a deal

Sounds good if it happens, we've done well with undersized top scorers from the Q before, Marchessault and Gourde. Just wish we would sign Sommpi too, could use a good two way forward like him in the bottom 6 of Syracuse next year.

There haven't been any prospect signings in 2018 yet?

That shouldn't be surprising at all. There are usually few, if any, prospect signings between when the calendar flips and March 1st. Once the calendar turns, every player is a year older for ELC signing purposes. A player who'd count as signing at 18 on December 31, will count as signing at 19 on January 1 and so on. This affects contract slides. So, a player who signs at 18 will have two (potential) ELC slide years. A player who signs at 19 will only have one. So there's little reason to sign a player in January versus in December.
When you get to March, however, teams have the option to sign players to ELCs that don't start until the following league year. So you'll see prospect signings start up again at that point.

Switched the tables to code tables (Cuz theyre just easier for me to deal with!) and updated all the tables, getting them ready for March 1st when we should start seeing more prospect signings.

Here are some updates on a few prospects!

According to this article, Patrick Kudla's rights expire this offseason.
Having been drafted by the Coyotes in 2016, Kudla finds himself in a unique position. He’s the only U SPORTS hockey player currently still property of an NHL organization, although that will expire soon if he doesn’t sign his entry-level contract in the near future.

Jake Ryczek, who was drafted in 2016 by Chicago, has left the NCAA for the QMJHL. His rights will be held by Chicago until June 1st 2020.

Chirs Wilkie (Florida) will be playing for Colorado College after sitting for a year. He's still eligible to play two more seasons of NCAA hockey.

Late bloomer, yes. He’s been on the NHL radar, especially Tampa Bay for a number of months now. He started to destroy the Q in 15/16 and has been overlooked because of his really small size. Odds are almost 50/50 in my mind to stick at the NHL level. Needs to put on some weight and muscle as much as possible. Skills are there, shot is there, vision is there.
