He stayed in Sweden for a year after the draft and when he finally debuted for the Oilers he had a respectable for a rookie 34 points (15 goals) in 80 games.

As much as I enjoy seeing the Oilers getting bashed, he wasn't rushed. He was never that great to begin with.

Maggy was my favorite of all the kids we had come in...but this is 100%. He had all the tools..but was a perimeter player that lacked a shot. IMO I saw him developing into a 3rd line defensive player because he was also solid defensively and had speed to burn.

According to the Fridge Holzer clears. He also says that Glass (Chicago) and DiDomenico (Ottawa) are on waivers.

I was thinking the same thing. If my memory is correct a team can't waive a player Monday because the rosters are frozen at 3 (EST).

Rosters aren't frozen, just any transactions after that mean the players involved aren't eligible for the playoffs.
