It will be interesting to see how badly the Browns **** this up. The pressure is on for teams outside of the top-2 looking for a QB. Browns could force a bidding war between PHI/SF for the last of the top-2 QB's, or other teams that may want someone like Ramsey. The Browns could obviously also pick whoever is left of the two but if they were only set on one of Goff/Wentz before today and that guy ends up going #1, they may have to go to their next BPA.

Bosa is my #1. I personally think Goff > Wentz.

People weren't even sure if Goff or Wentz would go in the top 7...and now they're going top-2 Winston and Mariotta?

Hey, if Goff turns out to be the next Andrew Luck franchise quarterback, all power to them...but he's not even as hyped as Sam Bradford for crisssakes...

Yep, this is just confusing as all get out. Goff and Wentz are decent QB prospects, but if it wasn't for the fact that teams are absolutely flat out obsessed with getting a QB they'd be mid-first round picks at best. They may or may not pan out, I'm not even sure either's the same level frigin Geno Smith was as a prospect coming out, and he turned out to be an absolute bust because he went to a disaster of a team. FAR from sure thing prospects.

Cam's lucky...he has an early chance to redeem himself.

Meanwhile, the question on everyone's mind for the defense is....CAN THEY STOP SANCHEZ???????

At this point, the happiest man is Paxton Lynch's agent. The chances of his client creeping into the top 10 just skyrocketed.

I was hoping he'd play on the tag this year and then bounce. I knew Gettleman wasn't going to pay him what he wanted long term though. We could have definitely used him in 2016 though.

oh my god this is terrible...can somebody please find ja rule? get ahold of him so i can make sense of all this....where is ja....help me ja rule

But in all seriousness, feels like a ripping off the bandaid type move. Both sides knew it was unlikely they would reach a long term-deal, and Gettleman's making it clear he doesn't want any drama at all this season. Sucks to lose Josh but we've got some good space to sign KK and Star to long-term deals and hopefully pick up another solid CB opposite Bene.

Gettleman doesn't **** around. Norman wants to be the highest paid CB in the league. Going to be interesting to see if he can live up to that outside of the Panthers' scheme.

All those big money contracts on cornerbacks usually come back to bite someone in the tush. Glad Gettleman could read the writing on the wall. Sucks to lose Norman, but even the franchise tag price was too high.
