Some links have surfaced of some truly awful Mother's Day uniform plans. All teams will wear gray caps with pink logos and trim, and pink lettering.

Well, at least MLB doesn't pretend that they're doing it for a good cause, while just pocketing the profits like the NFL does...and we only have to deal with it for 1/162 of the season instead of 1/4, but...blech. Always so ugly. And why gray? Everything about that cap is just horrible.

I love Mother's Day Baseball, but I hate that nothing can bring women to the forefront without plastering hot ****ing pink everywhere.

I know it's only one day out of the year, but it's still stupid to alter the uniform for such a low key holiday.
