Wow. Gent are really struggling in the Belgian league this season, never thought they had a chance to beat Spurs, but they did. Fantastic game from them.

Damn, Sparta got rocked tonight. Rostov was never going to be easy, but 4-0's a hole they have a snowball's chance in hell of making it out of

Shaping up to be a pretty good night for Belgian teams

Anderlecht lead Zenit 2-0 at the half. Ivanovic is having a nightmare for Zenit, this probably wasn't what he expected for his return

Russian winter break is way too long, of course that's no excuse as Krasnodar and Rostov won but it must be hard playing a competitive game when the league doesn't resume until March

Roma with a massive away goal at Villarreal, not shaping up to be a good day for La Liga clubs in the EL, we might finally see a non-Spanish side win

Missed the second half but BMG really deserved to score multiple goals in the first half. Hopefully Raffael is back soon, because their efficiency up front just drops like a stone when he's out unless Stindl is on fire...which he wasn't today...

But the defense looked good, Fiorentina's only goal coming from a set piece, and the Kramer-Dahoud partnership is looking a lot smoother than it to start the season.

Easy for Zlatan. Great set up from Rashford.

Might Evilo know what Zlatan's record vs St. Etienne was in L1?

Don't have it off the top of my head, but I believe he was the team he scored the most goals against.

Roma beat Villarreal 4:0, looks like a thrashing on paper but they were very clinical while Villarreal weren't. Still a fantastic result and two Spanish sides in danger of going out while Bilbao did beat APOEL but conceded two away goals.

Schalke certainties to go through as well after a 3:0 win over PAOK in Greece

So I'd say Pogba (the United one) played very well today despite having a quieter traditional statline. Rashford was really good coming on late, his work set up both the 2nd half goals.

I thought St. Etienne were pretty good. Looked positive going forward in attack but lacked clinical finishing. I felt the fouls that went against them were pretty soft as well.

I know that this won't happen as long as Zlatan is on the pitch, but Pogba should definitely take over FK duties. He's sooo much better at it.
