Don't know if I should share this, but EJ isn't close to 100%. My source said he came back on his own volition since he was bored staying at home. What this doesn't mean is he's playing with a broken bone (that already healed, but should have finished rehab at least a week longer than what happened).

Not saying you're wrong or anything, but where'd you get that info?

Is this the same source that said Iggy bought a house in the east coast?

A poster call Denver Boone said Iggy had bought a house in Boston about a couple weeks before SEPH, for what ever it's worth.

I don't want to get into "we all have sourcez", but to defend mine, he did call Roy being hired like two months before anyone. He's given me right information to the point I personally trust him. I don't post fake yet interesting news just for the sake of getting a reply.

Just heard Simon Gagne talk on Québec city radio about his hip surgery and he said it's the worst surgery/injury. Got me thinking that Varly might be damaged good.

None of us will know whether Varly's damaged goods or not until he's back on the ice for an extended period of time.

They wouldn't have done the surgery if it didn't have some chance of success. No question he'll have a ***** of a recovery and rehab ahead of him, but he'll have the best doctors and PT specialists available. We'll have to see, but I'm hopeful.

There was a Finnish interview I read this morning about Rantanens injury.

Puck hit my right ankle earlier but luckily the pictures showed nothing serious. It is just a hit, no fractures, Rantanen told to Iltasanomat at Wednesday.

– Päivä kerrallaan mennään tällä hetkellä. Pelaamme viimeiset pelit aika tiuhaan tahtiin, joten katsotaan nyt, ehtiikö nilkka parantua kunnolla viikonloppuun mennessä. Huomenna on taas uusi päivä. Saa nähdä, saanko edes luistinta jalkaan.

One day at a time. We're playing our last games in a very tight schedule so I'll just have to see if the ankle is better by the weekend. It's a new day tomorrow. I'll have to see if I'm even able to put my skates on.

(Talking about upcoming IIHF World Championship) – Harmi, että vamma tuli juuri tähän paikkaan. Pitää katsoa rauhassa kauden jälkeen, mikä nilkan kunto on. Vasta sen jälkeen tehdään ratkaisuja, toppuutteli Rantanen.

It's a shame that the injury happened now. I'll have wait until the season is over to see where we're at. I won't make decisions until then, Rantanen told.

It's not the end of the world if he doesn't play the rest of the season. It gives them a chance to assess other kids in bigger roles.

Ya I agree. Would've been nice to see him push for a 20G rookie campaign, but at the end of the day he's been very solid for us all year and besides Mackinnon has probably been our best player the majority of the season.

We know he's already a pretty good Top 6 player. If he cant go it gives us a chance to see what Jost/Compher can do in a Top 6 role for the rest of the season.
