I'm a bit confused with the Simmonds PK time..

It looks strange, but I don't think he's bad at it.

With the current lines he could be the #6 PK forward and keep Giroux rested. I also think they prefer not to use Coots to much short handed if possible.

Probably because he doesn't know how to block a shot properly. It is kind of odd that a guy that just got a 3 year extension isn't in line to play any special teams.

He was used on PP1 and PK units in previous years. Its a good thing that hes been pushed out by better players. He'll be there if (when) injuries occur
