The NHL needs to fire these officials. You simply cannot be that incompetent in a Cup final game and decide the outcome like that.

Hate the outcome, but proud of my fellow B.C. High alum, Mike Sullivan. Chiarelli's first mistake in Boston, firing Mike for Inspector Clouzeau.

My weird ****ed up way of twisting this to be a good thing in my head is that now, since 2009, the B's are the only outlier team to win a Cup besides the dominant teams of this decade (Hawks, Kings, Pengs)

Hard to believe this is the same Mike Sullivan that I thought could've done more with a pretty decent nucleus in Boston before the lockout.

Sullivan's 2003-04 team finished as the #2 seed in the East (Tampa was #1 and won the Cup) but they were burnt by Poutineville in the first round after leading 3-1 but we found out later Thornton was hurt. His 2005-06 team never had a chance which wasn't his fault.

Amazing it took over 10 years to get another shot.
