I think Boikov is benefiting from recency bias here. None of these guys are likely to be NHL players but Smith and Henley have proven more.

Well there always is the debate between prospects and AHL players, which is valued more and especially at this stage. Of the prospects that are left I feel comfortable in saying I like what I've seen in Boikov the best. As far as AHL players, Smith should have been voted in a while ago and especially before Martinsen who hasn't shown anything.

Personally, when drafted I had him very low. But after catching a game he appears to have some good potential with his size and skating. And it's not like his skills are awful either.

I love Henley, but I don't see much potential, unless he has improved his skating in the AHL. He WILL be a damn fine 4th liner and an amazing PKer though. I got to go with the guy who could turn out better than bottom line/pair though.

As for Smith, I just find it hard for these small guys to even make the NHL unless they are really dominating the lower leagues.
