Not fairly clear. Barely out produced Rantanen despite him playing 8 fewer games and don’t forget last year as well and this year’s playoffs. It’s a debate for sure but its not clearly MarnerMitch fairly clearly
Outscored Aho and Rantanen last season and over their career.
Elite skillset, elite PK, absolute horse.
Rantanen had a higher PPG and was much better in the playoffs. Rantanen produced more last year as well.Mitch fairly clearly

This. Plus He's not a finished product not that Marner is... But what I love about Ranty, is how well he has improved and will continue to develop every aspect of his game plus he's got some size and will use it on the boards something you can't teach he's a beast on the puck when he's done he will be a monster. Can't really go wrong with Rantanen, Aho, or Marner. Personally I take Rantanen because of the size and he elevates his play in playoffs.
What’s the reason for the general consensus that Marner is better than Rantanen?

I was replying to the poster who claimed Marner had the more productive season, despite Rantanen having a higher regular season PPG and superior playoff performance.1pt difference in their career playoffs games.
Lol not people. Just one person. Jackattack. He writes novels about eichel. Like several novels in one thread by himself. Better hope he doesn't find this. It's not the disagreeing that's painful. It's attempting to read the full length comments.Oh no, people gonna disagree with me online? Oh the horrors.
