I doubt many people would have predicted Houston, Texas, and Toronto would be in the playoffs this year. Heck, even NY seemed like a long shot heading into the year.

The Rockies have a 7 run inning in the 9th inning and still going with 2 outs. Both outs made by Jose Reyes.

Ruining the draft position and having less money to spend in the draft with this rally tho.

Imagine if Rangers have Darvish right now. But they could beat Toronto, for sure. Pretty interesting series.

How do they break the tie between the 68 win teams for draft order purposes? OAK, COL, MIL.

I don't know, I just know the Rockies were already locked into the top 4. Would have picked 3rd if Atlanta won both games against St.Louis and Rockies lost.

Imagine how the Angels are feeling if Josh Hamilton gets to go to the playoffs, and the Angels don't. I don't know how much Moreno is paying Hamilton, but the fact they treated him like trash makes me really want to root for Texas.

Treated like trash? He was payed like a star and he was TRASH. No hard feelings really, he was so mediocre in Anaheim nobody will really miss him.

Hamels on 3 days rest? I doubt it.

Rockies went 6-1 against Braves. You sure they would have picked 3rd if both teams had 67 wins?

Pirates clinch home field for WC game.

I believe if teams have same # of wins, they go back one more year and see the standings from that year. So in this case, in 2014 Braves had more wins than the '14 Rockies, so Rox would have picked ahead of Atlanta in the draft.

Axford is trying his best to blow this 4 run lead.

I think it was pretty awesome that all games started at the same time on the final day. Hopefully they do that next year

Final at bat for Davis for the season (maybe for him as O's): #47. Once again, he leads the entire league for HR.

I just realized Ichiro Suzuki pitched an inning... what the ****?!? :scared:

He was hitting upper 80's, pretty crazy for a guy in his 40s and having not pitched in a game since his high school years.

Likely his final game in the mlb if not baseball.

The Marlins are already working on bringing him back, he said he's not retiring until he reaches 3k.
