AL Game 162 scenarios

If Rangers win:
- Rangers clinch in the NL West
- Angels are eliminated
- Astros secure a WC spot (1st WC if Yankees lose, 2nd WC if Yankees win)

If Astros win:
- Angels are eliminated
- Astros clinch a playoff spot, WC spot if Rangers win (See above for scenarios)
- If Rangers lose then they would play Astros for a tie-break game to see who is the AL West champ

If Angels win:
- Astros must lose in order to play a tie-break game for the 2nd WC spot & Rangers clinch NL West

If Yankees win:
- Yankees secure WC 1 and play one of Rangers, Astros, Angels

If Royals win:
- Royals secure top seed in AL

If Jays win:
- Royals would need to lose in order for Jays to secure top seed in AL

Tie-break & WC games

Tie-break games:
Astros vs Angels (Astros host)
Rangers vs Astros (Rangers host)

WC game:
Astros vs Yankees (Astros host)
Yankees vs Angels (Yankees host)
Rangers vs Yankees (Rangers host)
