Even our U-17's are struggling.

2-0 Nigeria over USA. The two Nigeria goals came off of awful USA defending, but the deserved result. Nigeria controlled the game. Disappointing performance from the USA.

Don't worry, Nigeria's squad probably has an average age of 28.

This team could be pretty fun to watch with Eggestein, Gul, Passlack and Janelt leading the way.

USA parked the bus in the second half and Croatia deservedly came back, probably should have won it too, hit the post 3 times including twice on the final attack of the match. The USA barely touched the ball in the second half though did almost go clean through on goal in the injury time period.

Richie Williams is as incompetent as it gets, no clue how he's held this job so long.

Is this televised/streamed (legally) at all?

In the US, FS2 usually shows two games a day, yesterday though they showed the USA-Croatia game on delay because of CL coverage, probably the same thing will happen next few days because of CL/EL coverage plus baseball on FS1

Nice dive by Passlack.

Seems like the same problems for Albiceleste in every youth level. A **** coach relying on indivudual brilliance.

Hey man, when you're running at that speed getting grazed by someone's fingertips can crush your windpipe, brutal challenge...:-p

Passlack is performing very nicely today. Eggestein looks amazing. This is a strong batch of players.

I really liked Ozcan's showing as well. He could end up a nice 8 with his skill, size and fight. Janelt and Dorsch were both impressive as well. But Eggestein is just special.

England youth teams continue to "impress" as they end the group stage with 2 points and only one goal scored. They can still go through as a third place team

USA face Chile in about an hour in a winner takes all match, despite being hosts I haven't been impressed with Chile while the US has spent way too much of this tournament on the back foot. Croatia face already qualified Nigeria in a match where Croatia need at least a point in all likelihood

if scores hold then Croatia will advance with 2 points  However it can come down to GD if USA-Chile draw and Croatia concede more goals, but that's looking unlikely, in fact I think Croatia will score at least one.
