Prospect Info: 2015 Annual Prospect Poll #5

Last Poll: Montour wins, close one. Does Manson get the overflow, or will the Montour adherents find someone else? Montour and Manson were close last year, too.

NOTE THAT BERKOVITZ IS OUT OF ORDER. I forgot him when I was listing everyone. On the off chance he's your number 5, he's at the bottom.

Each poll will be open for 48 hours. If it's not close after 24 hours, I'll call it. If it is, it'll go the full 48. In the event of a tie after 48 hours, a 24-hour runoff will be held. The winner will get the open spot; the loser will go back into the pool, not get the next-lowest rank. The poll will go up to #25. Players are in the poll on the basis of HF's prospect criteria. Essentially, skaters with less than 65 games before the season of their 24th birthday, or goalies with less than 45 games before the season of their 24th birthday, are considered prospects. There are some nuances with respect to older-signed players, which I believe only applies to Matt Bailey this year.

Vote on players using whatever criteria you like. This isn't the readiness poll or the talent poll or the most-likely-to-be-best poll, it's just a survey of who we as Duck fans like.

Voted for Manson again. Friberg/Kerdiles/Noesen/Roy are up next.

I like Manson a lot, but I just don't think he's at the same level of a guy like Kerdiles. But I think he gets a little overrated. He started to fade quickly at the NHL level, and I just don't see top 4 in him right now. Hopefully he proves me wrong.

I think noesen is a better forward prospect than kerdiles, I'm surprised he's getting so much love.

Manson's ceiling is an issue for me, but maybe that's because I'm so unsure on what exactly his ceiling even is. He's a confusing development case.

I think at Noesen very best he would be a similar player to Dustin Brown (not a bad thing)

I think Kerdiles could be better.

Who knows though.

Tend to agree in fact Noesen was going to be my next vote. Despite the various injuries hampering his development, I think he might end up being Norfolk's best forward next season.

Really liked how mature he looked in the development camp.

You mean San Diego. ahem...

Quite surprised how Noesen is dropping like a brick in still water.

Noesen was ranked 9th last year. That's not dropping.

He never was considered to have high-end skill. His production didn't improve in juniors. And he's lost 2 of the most important development years.
