Prospect Info: 2015 Annual Prospect Poll #18

Last Poll: Welinski wins, easily.

Each poll will be open for 48 hours. If it's not close after 24 hours, I'll call it. If it is, it'll go the full 48. In the event of a tie after 48 hours, a 24-hour runoff will be held. The winner will get the open spot; the loser will go back into the pool, not get the next-lowest rank. The poll will go up to #25. Players are in the poll on the basis of HF's prospect criteria. Essentially, skaters with less than 65 games before the season of their 24th birthday, or goalies with less than 45 games before the season of their 24th birthday, are considered prospects. There are some nuances with respect to older-signed players, which I believe only applies to Matt Bailey this year.

Vote on players using whatever criteria you like. This isn't the readiness poll or the talent poll or the most-likely-to-be-best poll, it's just a survey of who we as Duck fans like.

Honestly I have no idea at this point. Went with Gates because he's a shiny new toy. What's been going with Thompson lately? He seemed like an ok pick at the time.

I really have no idea at this point.

Bodacious, I feel like last year (or the year before), you had put a link to the poll thread. For example, Gibson won poll #1, and the #1 rank column would have links to the #1 poll. Any chance you consider doing that?

Have been voting Gates for awhile now, I know he's faifly unknown at this point but I think you guys are going to like him. I picture a Shawn Horcoff type career.

Probably two years ago. Prior poll threads are linked at the top, so you could follow them that way, but you'd have to open a bunch of windows.

I can switch it up if you'd like.

Gates
Thompson
O`Brien

Gates had an injury ruining his season but i`m interested to see what he can do, he looks like a hard worker so maybe a Wagner type player without physicality. Maybe he can develop more skill. Who knows but i`ll take him now

And Thompson is a shutdown defenseman so not too worried he doesn`t have great numbers. I`ll take him next. But pretty sure he will have to need another 2 years at college so let`s see how that plays out

I read that O`Brien had a very good second part of the season.
