well added mass but we don't know if he added strength per say (or least I don't since I only know he added weight) I do know you can grow past 18 but 3 inches is a lot so it's hard to believe. I know I'll be seeing him next month when Champions league starts up.

At the very least I just hope he's still in the Habs' plans and vice versa.

I just want to see him at least get a shot with us to see what he can do so we know for sure.

Reway is now weighing 187.8 lbs

:handclap: :handclap: :handclap:

I read somewhere else that he's 5'11 too? That would be the greatest news ever.

where did you see that, growing 3 inches in one summer would impressive since at his age that makes it even more impressive however hard it is to believe.

The weight gain is possible easily, but the height is questionable, I hope it's true. That could mean Reway could actually get into the 200 lbs. area when peaked physically.

It good that he's been taking his training seriously, the added strength will help him a lot. The 5'11 thing I would have to see solid evidence for thought, it's not impossible to have a very late growth spur but 3 inches would be something else :amazed: . I sure wish I kept growing into my twenties...

This if all true would take Reway into the Top Prospect level amongst Hab Prospects, also making Timmins the King of future prognosticators IMHO. Nobody could have predicted these types of growth's by our young LW, great for the Habs to have Pacioretty, Galchenyuk and Reway as their LW's, lots of offence coming from them.

Our CHL prospects look WEAK. Probably the worst it's been in a long time, shouldn't Juulsen be in the OP though?

I'd be worried if there wasn't such a huge graduation though with a lot of promising names in that class.

We 'should' have 2 2nds next year. The more picks TT has the better imo.

85.20 kg = 187.833847 lbs

If this is legit, it is very good. 9 kilos in one summer is unreal. Hope it's mostly muscle and not hamburgers and beer.

I see Reway as a poor man's Yvan Cournoyer, who was short but thick, and extremely fast.

If Reway can learn to back check, Habs might have something.

Not possible. I went from 5-9 to 6-0 at 18. Took about 12 months. After that, no more height gain. You don't gain height after 18 or 19.

Don't care if Reway is 5-9, if he is stocky and strong, with his skills and speed, watch out.

It is possible to gain height after 18. Most people stop gaining height at 18, but some continue until 20, especially if they had late puberty.

I'd say he does, or at least hope. Kid has so much skill, and I think this final push to bulk up is saying in part that he's getting ready for the next step.

I gained height from 18-23 so its possible

Then I stand corrected. But it is very rare I believe. I'd like to know what milk you were drinking. :)

and if he still has the Habs in his plans!

If he wants to play in the NHL, then Habs are his only plan. He has no choice. He could demand a trade I guess, but that would be pretty stupid on him and his agent. He's not Eric Lindros.

This is exactly what happened to my nephew. He went through puberty late and grew roughly 3 inches from 18-20. He is now 20 and the doctor thinks he still will grow since he was a late bloomer.
