Sep 26 New Brunswick v Dalhousie (at Truro, NS)

Oct 01 New Brunswick at Portland (AHL)

Oct 03 New Brunswick at Boston College

That Truro game is an annual fund-raiser for minor hockey in the Truro area. I believe this will be the first time a non-Nova Scotia team has played in the game.

It sounds like UNB's Pete Kelley Classic (held over the Christmas break) will be going back to a multiple team format. STU will be participating as well as at least one more, if not two more, teams.

A LNAH team vs a CIS team? I sure hope they are playing by CIS rules.

Concordia and UPEI were added and a couple of games were changed on the master schedule. Sask and Laurentian still have regular season only. A Calgary-SAIT game was also added from past Saturday.

UNB 6 McGill 3 - Excellent hockey. Especially for an exhibition game. Very competitive. Both teams were taking it seriously.
Might be a preview of a matchup at the Nationals in Halifax.

Queens 5 STU 0 - Last season's super rookie defenseman Spencer Abraham scored three goals on a 5 min powerplay for the Gales in the third period. Their goaltender Ballie was one of the best in the CIS last year and it showed tonight.
Trudeau was solid in net for the Tommies not giving up a goal. The backup Lee-Knight was not up to the task when it was his turn.

A LNAH team vs a CIS team? I sure hope they are playing by CIS rules.

Yes they are, but LNAH has gotten much, much softer.

On sunday, McGill is playing UQTR. Usually, that means 500 people in the stands. But hey, it's a preseason game, so there's gonna be 200. And guess what, UQTR will only be facing McGill one more time at home this year. Such wasted opportunities.

Isn't it funny that most teams are playing 5-6 exhibition games... in a 28 games season, which is like 17% of the season. That's like if NHL teams played 17 preseason games. Makes no sense.

Make the season longer with less wasted september time. Why not add more regular season games and make them rivalry games for each team, you know, the ones that actually draw "some" fans?

CIS and marketing, fits as well as steak and milk !
