06/02/15 - Trenton Golden Jets ADD Turenko, Nicholas (D) acquired in trade from Kanata (CCHL)

Hawks' Liam Alcalde's Maritime Junior Hockey League rights were transferred from Campbellton to South Shore. Article indicated Alcalde played Jr. A near Toronto last season while I thought he only played in Hawkesbury last season.

The 73s have acquired Cumberland Grads' Travis Douglas sending Shawn Cameron & Jacob Hould to Cumberland. Hould was a Bantam Protect in 2013.

Interesting trade, I have always liked Douglas, best player on Grads IMO, their captain, former Cyclone so a local guy for 73's. Cameron is a goal scorer with excellent outside speed who had a very good first season in league last year. They had similar point totals last year.

As part of the Soares deal, CP traded the rights of Brayden Stortz to Kirkland Lake. CP had acquired Stortz from Brooks last fall, traded him to Kanata, re-acquired his rights and then released Stortz. Stortz returned to play GOJHL in his hometown, Welland.

Is Nepean unloading or are players jumping ship early? Pete Goulet still appears as coach, has a new head coach been named in time for the annual fundraiser selling the dream for $282.50 for a weekend in Nepean plus hotels for out of towners. The weekend $282.50. The memory of playing the weekend with Junior B or Midget players, "priceless".

Bo Taylor

Hi can I have some info about Bo Taylor. The Gatineau Olympiques just sign him today and he's the front runner to be their backup goalie next season..

The Braves brought in Taylor last season as the backup. Although the Braves traded their starter away for another older goalie, it was Taylor who started for the Braves in their short playoff run. The few games I saw Taylor play his team was giving up far more shots than their opponent. His play kept the Braves in the game giving his team a chance to win. Good Player.

Mildly surprised he has opted for the CHL as I was expecting his aim was a hockey scholarship. Graduated from a Prep school. Les Olympiques must have offered a good school package.
