Long term, that's a good decision. I kinda expected this kind of news as soon as Ortio cleared.

Good news everyone

Hopefully the Flames do the right thing and send Raymond or Bollig down when Bouma comes back and not Granlund. Won't hold my breath on that one though.

If there is a chance he is out, a waiver claim for Kassian is a no brainer now IMO

Really bad news. I don't know if anyone noticed, but Frolik's having a quiet but really good season so far. 16 points in 30 games, +2 with only 4 PIMs... This guy came as advertised for Calgary. This is one that might hurt us. That RW depth is still, so, so, so bad.

Sucks for Fro. We are really missing him in Winnipeg this season. Just goes about his job, tilts the ice, really strong possession player, chips in .5 PPG, and makes things easier on his line mates with his 200 foot game. He isn't the fanciest player but he is really valuable and didn't really take any shifts off during his two seasons here.
