I have a feeling the Bruins will be the team missing the playoffs from the Atlantic.

I'd love to see the Pens get the shaft somehow. Both the Islanders and Flyers leap frog them and Detroit somehow manages to win a few to knock Boston out. That would be glorious.

This

And the Pens last game is against... wait for it.. Caps. If excluding Pittsburgh from the playoffs is not a motivator for the Caps then nothing is

I find the new crew of plucky, barely shaving Maple Leafs to be a pretty entertaining bunch. The organization seem to be doing a decent job of finding out what they have, letting young guys gain experience, and upping their overall competitiveness - all the while without winning so much as to move them out of a good lottery spot.

If they were a stock, I'd say that they've stopped getting worse, and while they may not start turn up in near or even medium term, it may be time to think about starting a long position because the bottom appears to be in.

Their draft situation for 2016 and 2017 is pretty strong.

Edit: images appear to be too big for side by side unless you crop them, which I'm too lazy to do. Still, it works.

I thought the Caps got Toronto's 5th rounder in the Laich deal?

Pens missing the playoffs would be glorious, especially after all the gloating of their fanboys on the main board. It's not going to happen though. The Wings are my pick to miss the playoffs.

The great Thomas Greiss is coming back to Earth it seems.

It's an Ex-Cap-apolloza. Wardo knocks down the goalie, puck comes to Eakin, who brain-farts it to Ward who gets an abandoned net shortie. And now the Sharks score agsin

That gif makes it look like Hanzal barely touches Giroux but catches him at the exact wrong (right?) time. Is that accurate? Either way, hopefully Giroux isn't hurt too badly... head injuries are scary.
