Defenseman Matt Dumba has gotten his first taste of the NHL this season, appearing in 13 games for the Minnesota Wild in 2013-14. But the Calgary, AB native was loaned to Canada's junior squad that is competing at the 2014 World Junior Championship.
The move back to the junior ranks has been a successful one so far for Dumba and his Canadian teammates as they are preparing for a semi-final clash with Finland on Saturday. Dumba, whose stock in trade is offense, has been quiet on that front at this WJC. He has one assist in five WJC games so far, along with +5 rating and 10 penalty minutes.… read more
