2014 WJC Review: Russia cops second straight bronze medal

For the second year in a row, Team Russia came back home from the World Junior Championship with a bronze medal, once again beating Canada to earn that medal. If this can’t be considered a disaster, it cannot be considered a great success, either.



Truth be told, Russia had a strange tournament. The first couple of games were played against inferior teams like Norway and Switzerland, and it showed on the scoreboard as they easily won these games, 11-0 and 7-1, respectively.
