2014 WJC Podcast: Germany, Norway looking to avoid relegation

With the preliminary round now in the books, eight of the 10 teams taking part in the 2014 World Junior Championship can look forward to battling it out for medals beginning with the four quarterfinals matches on Thursday. But the other two teams on the outside looking in, Germany and Norway, are in the more precarious position of having to qualify for next year's top level of the WJC.



The two teams will battle it out in a best-of-three format this time around. The winner of the series will take part in the 2015 WJC that will take place in Toronto and Montreal, while the loser will be relegated to the Division IA WJC.… read more

Nice podcast! Would be very nice with another one after game #2, as these games are unfortunately not aired. Is Draisaitl out for this one btw? (Can't find any confimation on the IIHF pages.)
