Ha. Okay. Enough of the kool aid. But you'll have to define good. 15 goals? 20? 20 isn't happening unless he is playing with Perry and Getzlaf.

And that game was half of his playoff production.

What do you consider good for a player making 1M?

Never have had Kool-aid in my life.

Good interview with Yeo by Russo at the Fair. Good insight into how Yeo views the team going into camp. My take-aways:

1. Yeo doesn't believe in trying to emulate what other successful teams are good at, but rather do what makes the Wild successful. He knows the importance of physicality, but he's realizes that isn't the primary strength of the Wild, and that's ok, because he doesn't want to sacrifice other eras.

2. Yeo thinks the Wild best trait at the end of the year was SPEED. Blueline has a lot of puckmovers, and forwards had real zip in the playoffs, especially Haula, who should get bigger minutes if he doesn't regress.

3. Vanek's lack of foot speed may have been a legitimate issue in determining whether to sign him, but at the end of the day, the Wild net-front presence was not good last year, especially on the PP.

4. Zucker will get a real chance to make the team, because Yeo sees him as a player that can add more speed to the team, while bringing other traits. However, he doesn't beat out Fontaine and Cooke for 3rd line duty, he'll be in Iowa again.

5. Yeo loves Coyle. As if that were ever in doubt. Little mention of Nino.

apparently so do the captains and vets on the team, to quote yeo directly in the interview, Coyle was making "jaws drop." Personally i don't see it unless hes battling on the wall or in the corner outworking those bigger vets and winning the battles, but to say hes dropping jaws with skills or anything else seems a bit much.

Nino was making way slicker plays with his toe drags and trying to drive the net imo. Hardly a word about him all interview...

That said, in all fairness, nobody asked about Nino, where Russo did ask Yeo about Coyle and Haula, and a fan asked about Granlund.

Ha. Moulson higher than Parise... Moulson has good SO stats and all but shouldn't be on this list due to his choking in the SO for us alone.

I thought the same thing, but we got such a small sample size of Moulson's play... He's a decent player, but I don't think his best body of work was in Minnesota.
