While there is a fair amount of star power on Team USA's squad competing at the 2014 IIHF U18 World Championship, the roster also sports an unheralded player or two that bring something other than offensive skills or imposing size. One such player is forward Ryan Hitchcock.
Hitchcock is seeing time on the second line with top 2014 prospect Dylan Larkin and team captain Louis Belpedio. In five games, Hitchcock has produced a goal and an assist as well as 15 shots on goal.
During the 2013-14 season, Hitchcock played for the U.S. NTDP squad. In 20 games versus USHL competition, he scored five goals and added 18 assists to go along with a +11 rating.… read more
