Its unfair for me to comment on players outside of my normal group

Some of my favourates include Ritchie, Ho Sang, and McKeown. What Ho Sang was able to do in Minor Midget last year was outstanding, which is I have him ahead of the Del Colle (who is a great talent as well) on my early OHL Draft rankings. Not sure about Duchesne that high, but as you said, its WAY to heard to worry about where specific players are slotted.

Anyone who is interested there will be a week long camp in Mississauga for the top 96's in Canada in the first week of August, hosted by the NHLPA. Looking forward to seeing Ekblad, Dal Colle and Ho-Sang compare to Jake Virtanen, Daniel Audette, Ryan Gropp, Jonathan Deschamps and Matthew Highmore among others

Once again the Marlboros track down the top players of their age group (in the region)..very impressive.

The Mississauga Rebels will also have a heck of a draft, they have 5-6 players who could be 1st round talents.

It will be interesting to see how this year plays out in the GTHL.

I see that the lists seem to be either one league, or another... How about this group of players from a variety of leagues. I have seen about half and cant argue with any of them.

what I like about Duchesne is his size 6'01/200 I like his long term projectability myself, I think he has a lot of talent to bring out. Make sure to check out Brandon Nickerson on defense at the camp, the guy is going to be a good one in the QMJHL.

There is a player that I saw this summer at the Chowder Cup in Boston. He is a late 95, so he is eligible for this draft. He had very good size, and his skating ability, and vision with the puck was good. I expect to see him in this draft

Like Galchenyuk from two years ago, keep an eye on either Blake Clarke or Nick Schmaltz to go #1 overall in next years OHL draft. Still a long ways away, but damn is Schmaltz exciting, and Clarke looks like the total package as well.

Clarke is my fav of the two, this guy is physical, and very skilled, right now I have him 2nd behind Sam Reinhart he is going to be a dandy.

It all depends on where his was born. I believe his mother is Swedish as well but Michael Nylander had been playing for Calgary leading up to Willie's birth but Calgary had been eliminated from the playoffs already that year so I'm not sure where Willie was born. I try not to put too much stock into the USA Select Camp festivals over the summer but Nylander wasn't at the recent one and all his friends that he plays with in the USA were so that may say something. Unless Willie was born in the USA, I don't think he has citizenship. The other option would be if either of his parents have obtained US citizenship but I don't know on that avenue.

Im with you with Clarke, but I still dont see it with Schmaltz.

He is a good player, but im not sure that he is on the same level of a Joshua Ho Sang or a Michael Del Colle.

It depends on where he was born for USA hockey purposes, as was the discussion. If he wasn't born in the USA then he almost certainly doesn't have American citizenship and can't represent team USA. I know he has Swedish citizenship already.

Eliteprospects may be right but they're not very accurate regarding eligibility with the flags.

Yep, in that the only way Nylander's kid would have citizenship is if he was born in the USA.

Henrik is now. He's a '94 that played with the NTDP U-17 team last year. He's already played for Team USA in an IIHF event though.

Ill be honest im not to sure about Nylander just yet. Ive seen him 3-4 times, and I dont see it like I do with a Clarke, a Ho Sang, a Del Colle or a Hiddick.

Maybe its his body type, or his height, im not sure. I need to get to see him more often thou.
