Our prospect pool is actually looking pretty good! Despite it not having an abundance of "elite" talent, it has many players in the bottom half who could carve out NHL careers. MacWilliam, Kozun, Abbott (although not eligible), Carrick, McKegg etc. I like the mix of size, speed, grit and skill!

Broll was pretty good when he was called up. He will definitely be an NHL player (even if it's fourth line, but he'll be a good fourth line player).

I think realistically 1 of our goalie prospects (bibeau) has a better chance at this point than the rest. Valiev was passed over initially for a reason. Bibeau has potential for at least a back up.

There's also a reason why he went in the second round this year. I would tend to lean towards recent scouting opinions than out of date ones.

I also voted for Bibeau, but just wanted to point out that he was also passed over initially, so your argument against Valiev isn't great ;)
