Today I learned, OEL has a brother, and he's at our dev camp.

Sautner and Cave both look like good invites. Who is our WHL scout now?

And is that Jake Debrusk on the Bronocs Louis' son on Swift Current? If so, what are the odds we draft him next year?

He was one of those kids people were surprised didn't get drafted by an NHL team. Just like Colby Cave.

So they finally announced it, wondered why they waited so long. Usually they put the word out a month in advance.

I thought Kevin had been drafted by someone. I'd have to look it up though.

Woodlief (Redline Report) likes Cave:

First off, we have always admired the character and compete level shown by Swift Current's Colby Cave, so it was no surprise to us when he was named Speedy Creek's captain before the season. He is worth a selection if only for the multidimensional game he brings every night, but now his point production has eclipsed anything we ever expected from him. He's on pace for a 40-goal, 80-point campaign, which would double last year's output. We think NHL clubs will have a hard time ignoring that.

I didn't even see Mads Eller. I really liked this kid for the Oil Kings, this year. Can't believe he didn't get drafted. I figured 4th round, or so.
