the thought of both duclair and buchnevich playing together makes me giddy. imagine that powerplay how long has it been since we had young dynamic scoring forwards ??

add those 2 to guys like stepan, kreider, zuke, hagelin and jt miller and it gets silly.

im still hoping theres a young power centerman in our future. kevin hayes or someone else ?

lets keep fingers crossed everyone stays healthy.

lets play future powerplay

duclair stepan buchnevich hayes mcdonagh

good god.

Not even a mention of Haggerty? Hrivik? Lindberg? They will all play in the NHL.

CENTERS

1. Stepan
2. Brassard
3. Miller
4. Hayes
* Lindberg, Nieves, Tambo, Ivy, Foggy, Brassard for the next 5 years

LEFT WINGS

1. Kreider
2. Duke
3. Hags 1.0
4. Hrivik
* Bourque, McCarthy

RIGHT WINGS

1. Zuccarello
2. Butcher
3. Fast
4. Hags 2.0
* Nejezchleb, Kantor, and for the next 4 seasons Nash

Insane amounts of talent. We can definitely do a 2/3-for-1 trade.

Troy Donnay returned to the Otters I take it.

I haven't heard anything official. I have him listed in the juniors section because that's where I assume he'll end up, but it's just my educated speculation. There's a logjam on defense in the Rangers system, and I'm expecting him to go back for the OA season.

It's official, he tweeted he's coming back just a short time ago.

Hate to be this guy 2k2, but Calle Andersson has 1 goal, 1 assist & 2 points, not one. Very nitpicky sorry man. Great job as always, though! :handclap::handclap:

Does Calle Andersson really exist? I kind of think he's just an elaborate prank being pulled on all of us. He's got to be the single most forgettable prospect in the entire organization. He's not the worst, just the most forgettable.

Hahaha that goal! Goodness.

I forgot that you keep the stats updated in the first post, 2k2. I saw people talking about Buch being in a cold streak so I assumed he was slumping...but the kid has 12 points in 15 games. :amazed::amazed:

You really couldn't have expected any better. Wow.

I think we like the raw concept of him, but he still needs to put it together.

Good size. Very good and natrual 1-timer, it comes natrual for him to play on the PP point. Smart defensively.

But I think he is around 6'3 220-230 lbs. He is only 20 y/o. Like in the NHL, in Europe you gotta be able to stay with the pace nowadays. Calle can fly with the puck, but when you can't hook, clutch and grab, its not that easy to stay with all those 5'11 forwards swarming around you.

And he needs to play a lot of minutes to get those parts of the game, it don't seem like he gets to do that this season either. That isn't good.

In hindsight, I really think this kid should have played in the CHL or in college.

Not not-picking at all! What's the point in me listing stats if they're wrong? Thanks. :)

Yeah, it's a silly hobby of mine here. I update them whenever there's an update to provide. :)

Buchnevich, IIRC, had 9 points in his first 8 games. He then went 6 games without recording a point. So he was in a bit of a cold streak. Definitely snapped out of it though.

That goal was sick in that it's a tough move to pull off with no one around, let along 2 defenders and your teammates.

The kid has balls that's for sure.

This is why ODC loves his Russians: nobody else does this. A super talented Canadian like Crosby might, but among the Russians, you'll see that done by run of the mill top 6 guys.

I think we all like the raw concept of 2k2 and think he has the talent and the tools to count 1+1, but whether he can develop the toolbox to get it done is something we'll need to wait a few years for.

Garden should be rocking when Buch makes it. Hope the team re-signs Zucc too.

Can imagine it already:

Zuuuuuuuuuucccc

Duuuuuuuukkkee

Buuuuuuuuch(k)

Rangers should just draft skilled guys with names that start with a consontant and a uuuuuuukkee.

Seems to be working out well so far.

That goal was filth. Pure Filth.
