Hype is nothing new to Team Canada's Connor McDavid as it has followed him since he was granted exceptional player status as a 15-year-old, which allowed him to compete in the OHL one year earlier than other players in his age group.
To his credit, McDavid has only been stoking the fires of the hype machine, first with his Rookie of the Year performance in the OHL in 2012-13, and now with his equally strong showing at the 2013 U18 World Junior Championship.
McDavid currently leads all scorers at this year's U18 with five goals and six assists for 11 points in four games for Canada.… read more
