Nothing on tsn from mackenzie, Dreger, LeBrunn, etc. I'll believe it when I see it there or somewhere else definitive. On the one hand it makes some sense, but then you'd have imbalance in the rest of the intra-conference games.
Most balance would be 7 against division and then home and home against rest of conference. But that could be disastrous against our division. TSN power rankings have St Lou 4, and Chi, Det & Nashville at 6,7 & 8. Even given the suspect nature of pre-season predictions, the jackets will have as tough a schedule as anyone.

I'm a STH and opening night tickets are free for us as far as I know. Regardless, you shouldn't have that much difficulty in getting tickets for the game. Before becoming a STH I always used StubHub instead of TM.

Thank you for your post! I hope you are right. I expect the game to be a sell-out, but hope I can get two tix.
Nashville = Best city in the USA. Hockey & The Country Music Music Hall of Fame & The Ryman & Jacks BBQ all but a 10 minute walk from each other. I'll be in Legends Corner pre-game wearing a MacKenzie 3rd game worn prior to the game.

So Detroit is a 5er and we're done with them in early March? Seems weird to be done with division that early.

Could be a tv thing. Or it could be just trying an afternoon start. Lots of teams play matinees (at least in the east).

OHSAA State Hockey Tournament is that weekend, with the Championship Game scheduled for Saturday 3/9 (time TBA). Could have something to do with that.
They're an older team and may be a little slow getting out of the gate. That could be a blessing.
