Very simple, how will our new lineup produce (assuming full seasons)?

48 games:

Koivu: 13g + 33a = 46p
Parise: 21g + 22a = 43p
Heatley: 17g + 22a = 39p
Granlund: 8g +25a = 33p
Setoguchi: 13g + 9a = 21p
Brodziak: 8g + 8a = 16p
Clutterbuck: 5g + 4a = 9p

Suter: 4g + 27a = 31p
Gilbert: 2g +15a = 17p
Spurgeon: 3g + 12a = 15p

Left a few off, what do you think?

Pro-rated over 82 games...

Koivu just under a ppg and him and Parise in the 70+ point range
Heatley at ~66 points
Granlund with a very solid rookie campaign of ~56 points
Suter just barely cracks 50 points
Setoguchi with a not too good of a year barely cracking 30 points

Thinking Granlund is good for 30-40 after seeing him play in the AHL.

Predictions:

- Heatley has a big bounceback year
- Granlund will be better than our tempered expectations
- Butch won't be the same player he was before
- Seto has a nice bounceback year
- Suter will be as advertised
- Spurgeon will continue to breakout
- Gilbert will be better than we expected
- Brodz, Scandella, Falk, and Prosser points lower due to ice time

I think Heatley bounces back this season..last year he was the ONLY weapon for 50 games..now he can take a bit of a secondary role with other teams focusing on Parise/Koivu. This is also why I hope they move him to Granlund's line.

Speaking of, with Granlunds passes ending up on the stick of Heater on the PP...

I think this is possible:

Koivu 12-33-45 points
Parise 20-26-46 points
Heatley 25-20-45 points
Granlund 10-25-35 points
Setoguchi 9-9-18 points
Bouchard 5-15 20 points

Suter 3-20-23 points

Pretty close to what I'd have said - thanks for saving me the trouble.

Although, I think one man will overachieve:

Mitchell: 12 goals, 5 assists.

I think Heatley will lead in goals with 28
Koivu will have 38 assists
MiG will have 25 assists
Parise will have a matching stat like 21-21

Speaking of Heatley, I was watching the video of them doing drills on MN's website. Does anyone else notice his skating looks more fluid, I really wonder if he was telling the truth when after micro-surgery his knee felt better than it has in 4 years. Once again, it this is the truth, I expect Heatley to have a bounce back year (for a shortened season)

Here's hoping - mock turtleneck sales need a boost.

I think Parise, Suter, and the scoped knee make for at least a temporary Heater comeback, staving off any talk of compliance buyout next summer. Call it 25g-25a/50p.

Granlund 15g-25a/40p

Cullen might get the Art Ross in a lockout year

if he starts out hot again there won't be much room for his stats to decline with the 2nd half of the season not existing.

The Wild need no compliance buyout, they have only $50mil towards the cap next season.
