I'm still not really impressed with Stalberg. He seems like he would just be another band-aid to the huge laceration that is the lack of top 6 talent we have. I think he should be a fall back guy if the better options fall through. I'd really be careful of the kind of money you give him. I know hes lightning quick but he disappears for long stretches.

Stalberg is gone IMO ,, Wont be back at his costs + Q/Him had that disagreement a couple weeks back

Bicks will depend on Costs and if Hawks think they can afford him longterm

From the looks of it, your team has the depth to withstand losing two players like them. Good luck the rest of the way!

I've seen a handful of regular season Hawks games and a bunch if the playoffs and I just like what he brings. I'd risk 2nd line money on him. There are definitely some intriguing options out there though.

Loving the way this Hawks team is built. They've looked pretty dominant.

I like what Stalberg brings to the table. Strong, fast, hard forechecker. He'd fit in our system and there isn't much else out there. My primary target this offseason would be Horton and if we can't get him get Stalberg. Throw him on the 3rd with Zubrus and see how he does. He has 2nd line potential, but even if he remains a 20-20 type guy on the 3rd I'd be fine with giving him 3.5-4. Idk what he'll demand, but I don't think more than that.

He's growing on me, the more I see of him. I'd pursue him, Brunner, and Clarkson all more or less equally. Clarkson is still so good on the cycle, but not as good a forechecker, and I think the team could use some more speed.

If there was a QUICK-O-METER out there, I would've posted it before.

Unlike us in the Finals last year( :( ), the Hawks took care of business AT HOME.

I really expect them now to lose Game 3 on the road but steal Game 4, and then wrap it up in Game 5.

If they can knock off the Queens of LA, It would be the next-best-thing to us winning the Cup.

Yeah I expect a couple of Hogs to draw into roster next year

Have a few guys knocking on the door just need to be given a chance

Play in AHL this year
C Brandon Pirri = 22 goals + 53 assists (Won AHL Scoring race)
LW Jeremy Morin = 30 goals + 28 assists
RW Ben Smith = 27 goals + 20 assists
RW Jimmy Hayes = 25 goals + 20 assists

I expect 2-4 of these guys to be on roster in some role next year (Hopefully Morin/Pirri being locks ,, Especially Pirri we need a #2 C and he deserves chance)

Bowman had some $$$ this offseason to spend and he didn't ,, Very in love with prospects/youth coming in system (Didn't trade it either at last few deadlines) so I am not expecting Hawks to be active in FA market outside of trying to keep Bickell

I'm not gonna blame the goaltender just cause he gave up 4 goals on few shots, and or was taken out of the game. For instance Vokoun last night, or Craig Anderson for most of the Pittsburgh series. Vokoun was left hung out to dry last night, and Anderson for much of the Pittsburgh series by brutal all star game like defense.

Game was completely on Quick tonight. Awful bad angle Al Trautwig BRUTAL goaltending from him tonight. He looked as bad as Scott Clemmensen did against us last year for the Panthers, game 3 aside. I'm happy though so **** em. Hopefully the POS CHOKED away his second straight Conn Smythe tonight. Wrap it up Hawks!

Jones and Milbury are a joke. Keep on saying Vokoun played mediocre, and blaming him for a frickin goal that deflected off of Paul Martin's skate 2 feet in front of him though. ''Fleury might be going in if Vokoun is shaky again''. Hope they get their wish, and the dead flower puts up a touchdown again.:handclap::laugh:

lol the first two goals on Vokoun were directly caused by the defense. Three was iffy but that was a total breakdown all over the place and the horse was out of the barn at that point anyway.

Milbury is an embarrassment to the sport, and quite possibly the worst judge of hockey talent in the universe.

It was typical Pittsburgh defense rearing it's ugly head after missing the last 1.5 rounds. It's been pretty good since Vokoun has been in, but they've had their moments. I even think some of Fleury's last couple games weren't entirely his fault. He had some bad deflections go off his guys that went against him, and some bad breakdowns again. Though he was giving up stupid goals, and scoring on himself too. Blowing a lot of routine saves. I want MAF back in there, but not cause Vokoun is bad. Cause MAF will be horrible I think, and the goalie controversy will destroy them. If they were competent though they would stick with Vokoun, and not go back to the dead flower. They're incompetent though, so hopefully see ya later bye Pens!

I've appreciated how he sticks up for Marty, and has stuck up for the Devils in the past when they were getting slagged. He just has inconsistent views like all of them. It's like the NHL is telling these guys what to say.

Milbury might get worst GM EVER award though for sure.

No that already happened in the last round courtesy of Boston.

Maybe now the Kings are showing they're human after all. I mean they've already played more games in two rounds plus than they did in the entire Western Conference playoffs last year, the two-month grind is a little different when you have to actually fight through series - which to their credit they have so far.

Hopefully that 2-0 stat in multiple series holds, although it wasn't consecutive rounds the Kings went down 2-0 in.

Just curious if Pirri didn't pan out as a #2C next year what the fall back plan? And please give us Andrew Shaw I love the guy more and more everytime he plays :yo:
