Sadly, Pateryn doesn't fit.

Not sure what a "nathan Beaulieu type of player" means. It's either Beaulieu, either Tinordi. If it's "that type of player" it does fit in the category of players that could be playing in 1-2 years. Pateryn could fit the bill. Anyway, I just hope it's neither Beaulieu or Tinordi. Makes no sense for us.

I'd do Beaulieu + for Coburn no problem. I think we're REALLY underrating Coburn here. He is a mobile, hard hitting, 6 foot 5, 230 lbs defenseman, and he's 28.

Ummmm.... Coburn does not suck. He is a defensive d-man who is a physical minute eater. Spare the drama. He is what Hamrlik was to us a few years back... but way younger.

Much better overall defenseman, but I don't see it as a replacement. Coburn is 28.
