I am bored as hell, say that the season starts on January 20th and there is a CBA deal, what will our lineup look like without Cowen and the play of some of players in Bingo.

My lineup would be.

Michalek- Spezza- Silfverberg
Latendresse- Turris- Alfie
Greening- Smith- Regin
Condra- Obrien- Neil
Daugavins

Methot- Karlsson
Weircioch- Gonchar
Philips- Benoit/ Lundin
Benoit/ Lundin

Anderson
Bishop

Trade deadline trade bait if sens are out of playoff picture.

Gonchar
One of the goalies, likely Bishop
Condra
Daugavins

that lineup looks good to me. only thing i might change is wier on the second pairing. he might end up there by the end of the season, but starting there is something i'd be surprised at.

Yeah that's what I was thinking but 2 years ago a lanky Weircioch did very well in his first 8 games paired with Gonchar, he has come a long way.

That defence group is.. not very good. Also have to consider that two of them are getting up there in age and two others have been battling health issues in the past as well. Would hope they can get something done there.

Do teams generally create lines where all three guys are right handed or all left handed shots though?

Heatley - Thornton - Marleau (all left)

Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Franzen (all left)

Sedin - Sedin - Burrows (all left)

Cole - Plekanec - MaxPac (all left)

Also, Murray has said his game is probably more suited for the NHL than the AHL. He looked good from what I remember as well. I'm excited to see what he can do given more opportunities in the show.

Something like this. I'd be surprised if Benoit gets called up. I think we'd sooner dip into UFA after amnesty buy-outs, or try and acquire a veteran via trade to fill in for Cowen.
The bottom-6 forwards are going to depend on where we slot Regin into the lineup. I think the top-6 would largely be set with Michalek-Spezza and Turris-Alfredsson as linemates.
