Hedman seems to be using a shorter stick then he used to, looks like it only goes up to neck possibly clavicle which is where skilled forwards sticks usually go.

Kinda explains his increased scoring I guess.

Its just bizarre, instead of trying to shoot the gap between the defenseman, dump it in! Don't just float a puck to the goalie and go to the net to get a offensive zone faceoff either.

Just like that Bourque shoots the gap and scores. Kuznetsov a dangler and probably one of the fastest players in the NHL now, doesn't even attempt to do it because hes told not to.

He was dropping big time draft night. Completely honest I was hoping they would not pick him. As you can see my day job is not an amateur scout. I think Fehr had around 24 or so goals his draft year and was one of the youngest in the draft. Then he scored 50+ goals the each of the next two years in the WHL. Corey Perry also slid his draft year.

Our mistakes are their Cup wins...by my count, only 1 guy drafted ahead of Fehr has had less of a career, Nilsson at 12. Every single other guy has had a better career. That's hard to do.

Obviously you have Getzlaf, Burns, Kesler, and Richards all drafted within 6 picks after him...

I love how people insist composite sticks are weaker than wood sticks. It screams they either have never played hockey or haven't played in a couple decades.

I love how people insist composite sticks are weaker than wood sticks. It screams they either have never played hockey or haven't played in a couple decades.

All I know if I was a PK specialist or a main stay on the PK I would ask any stick manufacturer for an unbreakable stick. Not sure why this hasn't happened yet.
