Jones is and pretty much has always been a one trick pony. That one trick made him a 20 goal guy. You'd think that if the Avs were going to invest $16M in him, they'd have a plan to do something with this trick. Because Jones is pretty good at it.

Jones should be a 4th line player (*maybe* 3rd line, best case), then placed firmly in front of the net on the power play, every power play. He is an overpaid Tomas Holmstrom. That's all he is.

Hejduk is not on the trip. Jones is questionable, and they'll call up a forward from LEM if Jones is not ready to go. I'm guessing Sgarbossa.
