I'll take Russian forward Anton Slepyshev. Ghostbuster is up!

Yarullin was going to be my last defenceman picked so now I'll have to go back to the drawing board. I have a few intriguing guys on my radar but they could easily put up zero points. :D

Slepyshev is a steal, it was him or Ritchie for my last forward pick.

I may totally regret this, but I'm going to go off the board with my last defense pick...

Taking Tomas Pavelka (CZE)

Argh, that was my last gasp pick on defence! I have no clue if he's playing a big role on the Czech team but they have some solid forwards for the powerplay and Pavelka has put up good numbers in the QMJHL.

Yeah he's doing real well for PEI. He put up a couple of 2nd assists today and hoping he can leech off of the Czech forwards. Fingers crossed!

I thought a pick is a pick. If he is on the roster, that's a valid pick in my opinion.

Meh, given that he's hurt there is no harm in switching the pick. It's not like he's getting an advantage by switching his pick AND having people make picks before he gets a chance to make the switch.

haha I'm just bitter I picked Granlund last year and he got hurt....but I do see the difference.

It's a fair rule.

Once the tourny starts though, if a guy is out....he is out. No take-backs!

I'll take the risk of suspension and take Boone Jenner. My Internet is down and researching Euro forwards that I don't really know is hard on my phone.

Wow, Sergeev was my backup option on defence and now he is gone too. This draft has been awful for me in terms of having my guys get stolen. I usually manage to snag the guys I want! :( I like the looks of your team lakai17!

Surprised Faksa didn't get picked actually. For me it was the team factor, not sure how far they will go. Although to be honest, their goalie is a CHL player and putting up really good numbers? Pretty sure someone drafted him in our pool.

Faksa plays for the Czech team - I was 50/50 between him and Slepyshev and I wouldn't be surprised if Faksa put up big numbers. The Czech team is pretty strong up front this year and Faksa could benefit from some strong linemates.
