Finally got around to editing the OP with people's commitments (I'm on the laptop so seldom these days, but it's tricky and tedious to do on the phone) - and given my delay, I was lenient with those people who signed up within 24 hours of the deadline.

Looks like we have a number of endorsements that don't get much (if any) action year over year, so we'll look to do an overhaul for next season.

There were also a number of teams that didn't sign up for any endorsements at all. Given that a few of them are essentially guaranteed revenue, there's really no excuse for this unless a team is so cash-strapped to start the year it can't afford the down payments. We'll have to see if this has any impact on teams that wind up in financial trouble this season...

Bonne chance!

I know, Due/Dew. But this is a typo that goes back to the very beginning of HFNHL endorsements (like, what, eight years? 10?), and is preserved and perpetuated not through ignorance, but rather as a legacy of ignorance past. A tradition, if you will. :D

LOL fair enough :D

Endorsement costs are now withdrawn.

Teams normally have until game 42 to withdraw - but since we didn't have a notice - lets set a new deadline. If you want to withdraw from any endorsements you have until Friday, 11:59 pm EST.

You will be refunded half the cost of the endorsement....

Ready, set go....

... and by "sign up for", Jon, you of course mean "withdraw from". Crappy season for you, no question. :(

yes it has been a crappy year. Oh well what do you do I've had overachieving teams and this year I expected to do well and I underachieve. I guess it's back to the drawing board and time to rebuild. Had a good run though bringing my team from the verge of bankruptcy with just Dion and Ovi as legitimate players to game 7 of the finals in a two year span.

I've been there (although Josh's Sabres beat me in 5 games in the Cup Final, so you've got a couple of games on me ;) ). You did a terrific job building to a finals appearance in short order, but as you can see it comes with a cost. The challenge becomes how to get back to the finals with a team that can stay competitive sustainably.

It's been 5 or 6 years getting back to this level for me, and I blew up my farm to do it. Hopefully you can get back on top quicker than that - and without paying such a big price!

Yes no doubt that will be the challenge. Getting good value for guys like Vanek, Carle and Smith will be key. As well most importantly probably is making wise draft picks this offseason. I'm holding 2 picks in each of the first 3 rounds.

With the regular season complete, I can now report on all of Columbus' endorsements. I only signed up for three, because given the depth in the West I couldn't predict where I'd finish and so didn't want to gamble on any of the merchandise deals. That said, I'm pretty pleased with the end results.
