One is Dillon Simpson, the University of North Dakota defenseman. He's the son of Craig Simpson, who interestingly enough played college hockey at Michigan State.

Nathan Beaulieu's father Jacques is an assistant coach for the London Knights right now.

Nicklas Jensen's father played pro in Denmark and is actually a Canadian citizen.

David Musil father Frantisek played almost 800 NHL Games.

Kyle Rau is brother of Maple Leaf prospect Chad Rau.

With Alexander Ruuttu being born in 1992 in Chicago, I think one can assume he is the son of former NHL Blackhawks Christian Ruuttu.

No relation to the Ruutu's of course.

No, they do not.

I went to UND. We played them I think twice the whole time I was there. They play in a different league and most rivalries are league rivalries with a few exceptions.

As sfo stated, no they don't. I believe MSU did have some interest in the younger Simpson, though not sure how hard they pursued him or if they pursued him as hard as UND did.

According to eliteprospects.com, Slava Kozlov and Ivan Novoseltsev are Namestnikov's uncles.
