Two former Ässät-players in Tom Wandell and Jesse Joensuu plus Pavelec and Burmistrov from the Thrashers.

    Awesome. :yo:

Very good rosters, should be a good tournament. It's more likely than not that there will be streams for the games, right?

MTV3 shows FIN - RUS for free on sunday :yo:

So it's viewable online from Katsomo, but I'm not sure if it's viewable outside of Finland.

I counted 49 KHL players, damn, that's impressive.

I'm looking forward to see guys like Nabokov, Eriksson, Päjäärvi, Ruutu, Koivu, Michálek, Pavelec or hometown boy like Havlát in Brno. And one week after see those guys (okay, not all of them, but just few) again in Bratislava :handclap:

Too bad I don't have tickets to Canada games.

Any expected streams for Czech-Finland? Katsomo is geo restricted.

Looking forward to this. Some great young talent on team Sweden.

I wonder how MÃ¥rts will line up, especially at center. Is it confirmed that Wallin and Persson get letters? That would make it likely that they both start. So will one NHL pro get scratched or will they play someone on the wing?

I think that Loui and Nilsson won't play, the other 13 will be dressed.

That's a shame.. well, it's an EHT game so it's not really that important but I am slightly less pumped now. Still a lot of skill on the team though and will definitely watch.

Will these letters be the same for the WC squad? I mean, why would Wallin, Persson and Petrasek be the chosen leaders on a team they can barely get into (if at all). Or am I reading to much into it?

I think that Ericsson, Sjogren and Andersson are far more likely to get cut, but yeah a little strange perhaps. Wallin fits a need on the 4th line and PK, Petrasek feels like a top4 right now on this team, and Persson has been one of the best forwards all year on Tre Kronor.

I agree that Persson has been good, but especially Wallin seems surplus to requirements when Wandell can fill that role and we might have some other NHL center on the way (crosses fingers).

EDIT: I see that Wallin doesn't start, so no biggie.

CZE-FIN is JustinTV which means it's about a minute until you get the "max number of viewers, upgrade to ..." message.
