Sedin - Sedin - Burrows
Raymond - Kesler - Samuelsson
Higgins - Malhotra - Hansen
Torres - Lapierre - Tambellini

Confused as to what the confusion is...? Last spot could be given to Oreskovich/Glass/Tambellini and that's about it.

the playoff should have started

sedin sedin burrows
raymond kesler samuelsson
torres malhotra hansen
glass lapierre higgins

as it went on that should have become

sedin sedin burrows/samuelsson
higgins kesler samuelsson/burrows
torres malhotra hansen
glass lapierre raymond

and when facing tougher defensive matchups that should have morphed into

sedin sedin samuelsson
burrows kesler hansen
raymond hodgson higgins (super duper gooper sheltered)
torres malhotra lapierre

tambellini should never ever have entered the lineup unless injuries forced it, glass is fine for seven-to-nine minutes on the fourth line with a good center like lappy and any of the wingers in the lineup.

not having to limit the fourth line to five minutes or less would have gone such a long way...

I have Hodgson in my lineup - especially for Game 7 SCF. Playing Tambellini there was a mistake. But unlikely to change anything I guess.

I was very confused that Oreskovich was in the lineup during the finals. The guy came out of no where and was slotted in, and never to be heard of again. Was supposed to add a bit of sandpaper on the 4th line, but didn't add much of anything.

Overall 2011 finals wasn't heartbreaking like 94, it was aggravating.

Oreskovich played most of the playoffs?

Also, they re-signed him for the next season, but lost his spot to Weise.

That's an elite blueline. But none of our top-six were simultaneously healthy during the Cup run.

f*** that is depressing to look at

I remember when I joined here in 2006, wondering why people were so nostalgic and always talking about 1994. I get it now.

Same. This is 1994 for a lot of people, myself included.

Having 4 top-pairing calibre blueliners is pretty good.
Arguably 5 too. Even though Salo was injury prone, when he played, he played like a top pairing d-man.

We're never going to see a team like the 2011 team ever again. It's a real shame they fell 1 victory short otherwise they would've etched their names as one of the best teams ever iced in the modern era.
