So assuming everyone was healthy going in..who plays with Higgins and Lapierre?
I have Hodgson in my lineup - especially for Game 7 SCF. Playing Tambellini there was a mistake. But unlikely to change anything I guess.
Probably Tambellini or Hodgson at RW. Knowing AV he probably would've put Glass though. So assuming everyone was healthy going in..who plays with Higgins and Lapierre?
Canucks would have destroyed Boston if Elias Pettersson was playing. ;-)
Well he would have been 12 if my math is correct so I highly doubt that... but thanks for your input.
I was very confused that Oreskovich was in the lineup during the finals. The guy came out of no where and was slotted in, and never to be heard of again. Was supposed to add a bit of sandpaper on the 4th line, but didn't add much of anything.
Overall 2011 finals wasn't heartbreaking like 94, it was aggravating.
Both 2011 and 1994, not even a single goal from the 4th line.
Lapierre was a 4th liner and scored the only goal of the game in our game 5 win during the finals.
lapierre centered the third line btw hansen and torres
I wonder with hindsite what their best defence would have been.
Hamhuis-Bieksa
Ehrhoff-Salo
Edler-Tanev
That's an elite blueline. But none of our top-six were simultaneously healthy during the Cup run.

cant have an elite blue line without an elite blue liner
Same. This is 1994 for a lot of people, myself included.f*** that is depressing to look at
I remember when I joined here in 2006, wondering why people were so nostalgic and always talking about 1994. I get it now.
Arguably 5 too. Even though Salo was injury prone, when he played, he played like a top pairing d-man.Having 4 top-pairing calibre blueliners is pretty good.
