Sad to see such a competitor go out on a down note.

I was a huge fan of Drury's, going back to his run in the Little League World Series. Made the cover of Sports Illustrated at 13 for a sport that he wouldn't end up playing professionally.

This is shocking. While individual deaths are disturbing enough, an entire team is just tragic.

Tragic news for sure. Ruslan Salei, Josef Vasicek, Stefan Liv, Karlis Skrastins, Alexander Vasyunov, and Jan Marek may have been on the plane too... also Brad McCrimmon who was Locomotiv's coach...

No he won't. Every year we cut off the European departures and retirements at October 1st. So Kotalik remains on your roster another year.

One that was missed earlier is Olivier Magnan. He went to Russia for a try-out in August, then moved onto Italy in September and hasn't come back. So Magnan should head to the prospect list.
