AHL:
- Forward with more than 40 points in the AHL
- Defenceman with more than 30 points in the AHL
- Goalie who finishes in the top 5 in either GAA or SV %
- Any player winning rookie of the year, being selected for an all star team, or being selected for the all rookie team

Does being selected for an all-star team only mean starters or does that include extras? For instance Frazee was selected as an extra goalie, would he qualify?

Sorry for taking so long to answer this, Dryden...

While the original intent was for the award to only include players selected to the end-of-season All-Stars (hence why it was mentioned in the same breath as other post-season honors), because of the ambiguity involved, we decided to open the award up to both players participating in the All-Star Game (starters and reserves), as well as players selected to the end-of-season All-Star Teams. Fair enough?

I'm cool with it either way. Just wanted a little clarity. Looks like it will help some teams make money.

Ducks are backing out of the Powerade endorsement, as Plekanec and Pominville both are looking like they're going to come up short this season.

Sanguinetti has scored more than 30pts in the AHL this season as a dman, he did this while being property of the Montreal Canadiens, he has been traded, can I still cash in his endorsement money?

I believe you can keep his million and he has been delt to me, and i fully agree that Montreal should be able to keep the million Sanguinetti earned for them, as he earned the whole endorsement before being traded, and i have 5 players that reached or will be reaching their endorsement goal so i have no need for his anyways..

If I recall correctly the MD-players have to be on the team for the full season. I think this interpretation of the rule was set to avoid MD-trades, when a team with say 5 MD-prospects trades away a MD-million to another team that doesn't have 4 MD-players on their prospect list. I know I've had to hold back a few trades due to this in the past, and I haven't heard that it would have changed since.

Achievement has been met. Kovalchuk surpassed 25 goals some time ago. He's currently at 34 goals in 66 games and has recently inked a 4 year contract extension.

One player has qualified for Mountain Dew (Jakub Kindl for making the AHL All-Star team), giving the Rangers at least their original $1M investment back. Still potential for more players to qualify (fingers crossed for Colin Wilson's Hobey bid).

So...so far it looks like the Rangers are getting a $6,000,000 return on their endorsements, with potential for a bit more.

Well with the Powerade (Phil Kessel) being completed the other night as well as..
The Mountain Due endorsement..
- Cody Hodgson WJC leading scorer
- Justin Abdelkader over 40 pts in AHL
- Jonathan Blum over 65 pts in WHL
- Dustin Tokarski/Mike Murphy leading WHL/OHL in GAA

the Coyotes will cash in on 6.5M in endorsement money.. which will be key for the team's future.

You gotta love that win in the last game of the season to get home ice and my $4M payout.

With Getzlaf and Vanek getting 25+ goals and an attendance of 93%, Devils have hit their three endorsements (the fourth was canceled earlier in the season, good thing since Gaborik scored only 39 goals) and have a payout of $11.5M coming.

Quiz-question: does being named to the Memorial Cup All-Star Team, or receiving an individual award in the tournament, count towards the Mountian Due (Dew) Award?

Marco Cousineau of the Drummondville Voltigeurs was named the recipient of the Hap Emms Memorial Trophy as the Most Outstanding goaltender of the 2009 MasterCard Memorial Cup. The 19-year-old from Les Cèdres, QC, led the tournament with a save percentage of .911 to go with a goals-against-average of 2.94 in four games played. He was spectacular in the semi-final game making 44 saves as first star of the game despite the 3-2 loss to the Windsor Spitfires.

2009 MasterCard Memorial Cup All-Star Team

Forward – Taylor Hall, Windsor Spitfires
Forward – Jamie Benn, Kelowna Rockets
Forward – Patrice Cormier, Rimouski Oceanic
Defence – Ryan Ellis, Windsor Spitfires
Defence – Tyler Myers, Kelowna Rockets
Goaltender – Marco Cousineau, Drummondville Voltigeurs

It was a great Mem. cup all around for the HFNHL Jackets, as Adam Henrique led the Cup Champion Windsor Spitfires, grabbing a share of the tournament scoring title (with Jamie Benn) with 9 points, and Andrei Loktionov (also of the Spitfires) was also in the top-5 for tournament scoring with 7 points in 6 games.
