Hope there's no rule against picking your own players.

We are now taking nominations for the remaining trophies to be awarded, which are detailed below. Please take some time to review the season and playoff records and then vote for who you feel is the most deserving of the awards. The catch is that you cannot vote for someone from your own team. Winners are determined based on most votes received.

Calder Trophy - top rookie: C Sidney Crosby, Colorado (16 votes; next was G Henrik Lundqvist of Detroit with 3)

Lady Byng Trophy - most sportsmanlike: C Patrick Marleau, Buffalo (4 votes, Scott Gomez and Marian Gaborik each had 3)

Frank J. Selke Trophy - top defensive forward: RW Daniel Alfredsson, St. Louis (5 votes; Bobby Holik and Saku Koivu each had 3)

Georges Vezina Trophy - top goaltender: G Sean Burke, Anaheim (12 votes; Luongo was second with 4)

James Norris Trophy - top defenceman: D Bryan McCabe, Dallas (a sweep - all votes except his own team!)

Hart Memorial Trophy - MVP: D Bryan McCabe, Dallas (6 votes; Sean Burke and Joe Thornton each received 3)

Conn Smythe Trophy - Playoff MVP: G Roberto Luongo, Ottawa (15 votes)

... and the Steve Wright Memorial Trophy - Top GM: we have a three-way tie! Congratulations to Dion Ong (Carolina), Cohen Simpson (Ottawa), and Abbas Chagani (Toronto)! In a wide-open field, Matt Kershaw, Ville Isopaa and Drew Niece each received 2 votes; all other votes were singles.
