2005 HFNHL Draft Compensatory picks

Gentlemen,

The following are the compensatory draft picks for this year’s draft. These will be applied to the beginning of each round in question:
- Boston awarded a 7th round pick for the loss of Jason Wooley
- Buffalo awarded a 9th round pick for the net loss of Bure, Perrault and Taylor (versus signing of Nieuwendyk, Hoglund and Ronning)
- Calgary awarded a 5th round pick for the loss of Nylander.
- Chicago awarded 6th and 7th round picks for the loss of Andreychuk and Therrien.
- Dallas awarded a 7th round pick for the loss of Simon.
- Detroit awarded 5th and 6th round picks for the loss of Nieuwendyk and Lapointe.
- Edmonton awarded a 5th round pick for the net loss of Roloson (versus the signing of Snow)
- Los Angeles awarded 6th and 7th round picks for the loss Fleury and Tucker.
- Montreal awarded 3rd and 6th round picks for the loss of Zubov and Weinrich.
- Nashvile awarded a 7th round pick for the loss of Stevenson.
- Phoenix awarded 6th and 9th round picks for the loss of Drake and Wright.
- St. Louis awared a 6th round pick for the net loss of Kariya (versus the signing of Walker/Wright)
- Washington awarded two 5th round picks for the loss of Bondra and Hecht.
