96.8 is an outstanding slapshot even by NHL standards. I have a feeling that kid just did himself a huge favor.
not only that look at his times... under 3 in the 60.. under 6 in the 180... he did ok in the lap and puck skill but the slap shot numbers and his speed timing is incredible

if this kid is a defenseman he has just launched himself up the draft charts

I don't care if this kid has poise with the puck or not, that slapper is going to hit triple digits one day and i'd love for the Hurricanes to take a flyer on him in the second round.

with his skating at that size his potential to improve is deffinitly there..

i dont know what the deal with him is but i do know a 6'5 defenseman that can skate very good and has a rocket in the mid - upper 90's would certainly be welcomed on my team...

this might explain why he has been overlooked, all that talent on that team.. this should open up some eyes

Look how thin framed that kid looks in the picture. If he fills out right, he's going to be a monster. Good grief, what is wrong with this kid? Could somebody fill me in here.

I recall Dan Focht having some great shot numbers at his TPG, yet he's turned out to be a 'tweener as a pro (between NHL and AHL skills). He might have some great drill skills and have a hole in his game somewhere else....
